World Cup 1 Pau-> France.
Hello there,
I have to say it has been a while since my last post, but things as always have been hectic!
I had my last exam on the 12th and I pretty pleased with that, now I will just have to wait for the results on the 6th July! Oulala one might say!!
I left for Paris the next day for a night, and was very happy to see all my folks there even if it was for a very short while. My Granny came over to france for 2 weeks so it was good to see her too! Always good to hear good old and “wise” advices..! :)
After nearly missing my flight the next day....well not really my dad just took us towards the wrong airport, then both my Mum and I had a go at him for that...! All good though I got the flight to Toulouse where I stayed a night a Benjamin Boukpeti’s sweet flat, and we then drove for a 4 day training camp in Seu (Spain) where the World Champs in September will be held. It was a very very intense training, with session starting at 6h45.....AM! so we had breakfast after our sessions, then second sessions were at 7PM, so we had all day to chill out and play the Wii in our sweet apartments in Arfa, just minutes away from the course.
I am now in Pau where the 1st out the 3 World Cups is going to be held. It’s in south of France where all the big names in france come from, such as Fabien Lefevre, Tony Estanguet, Julien Billaut..... The course is sick! It’s big and fast and every time you go on it it’s hard to just be focussing on the quality you do, you just want to play around and get bounced around by the stoppers and big waves... though I know what that can result in for after my last training camp there.... Every time I paddle across that dodgy corner on the course, I still have a thought of that incident, now and again goose pimples can be seen...aha!
Anyway training here is sweet with all the Amadonsa’s here also, and we are all pumping up for the weekend!

Keep you updated as much as I can,

Ciarán.
