Movember.

Hi there,

Well it has been an interesting few weeks. A week before November started I received an e-mail fro Ken Lynch on of the Irish Institue of Sport member asking if I wanted to get involved in "Movember". I had heard this one time but never really knew what it was all about.

Movember is about changing the face of Men's Health and bring awareness towards prostate cancer which 1 men out of 9 will be diagnosed with. "Mo" stands for moustache in Australia and the movement originated from there. Men are then asked to do a clean shave on November 1st and grow a "Mo" for the whole month. I've put a couple of photos in HERE of how I am getting on. It's all for a good cause so please donate on the Movember.com website and for our Institute of Sport team, to find us type High Performance in the search bar, or type Heurteau.

Several Irish Athletes joined the cause such as Olympic Medalist Kenny Egan, and car racer Niall Quinn.

Other than that training is going really well. I'm trying to step up on everything I do, in order to arrive in the 2010 season ready to rumble!

That's all for now,

Cheers,

Ciaran.
